The following equipment is available to students, faculty, and staff at the Multimedia Center on the first floor of the Marriott Library.

A clip-on microphone with a 3.5' cord and 3.5mm plug to fit most recording devices.

XtremeMac MicroMemo for Video iPod

Plantronics DSP-400 Headset Plantronics DSP-400 Headset
Foldable stereo headset for audio recording and playback with clip-on volume and mute control. Connect to a computer via USB.
Portable Hard Drive 20-80GB Portable Hard Drives
Portable hard drives can be used for podcast storage. Connect to a computer via Firewire or USB.

Video Editing Stations
There are six video editing stations in the Multimedia Center. Each station features a Mac Pro computer with dual monitors, a VCR, a video monitor, and an analog/digital media converter. In addition, one station is equipped with a DV/mini DV deck, one with a digital keyboard, and one with a Firewire 800 hard drive dock. Software is available for audio editing (Audacity, Amadeus Pro), video editing (iMovie, Final Cut Pro), and enhanced Podcast creation (Garage Band).
