The Benchmark computer lab is one of two serving the Residence Halls area at the University of Utah. This computer lab has friendly, knowledgable staff who are always willing to help if any problems arise. The lab is available to all University of Utah students, faculty, and full-time staff. This lab requires all users to log in using a University Network ID (uNID).
This computer lab has 44 PCs and 23 Apple Macintosh computers available for general student use, 1 PC and 1 Macintosh with scanners reserved for image editing, and 1 PC reserved for students with disabilities. This lab is entirely dedicated to open usage during operating hours. The computers may print either to a pair of HP Laserjet 9000 DN or an HP Color Laserjet 4500 DN printer.

- 1 PC reserved for use by students with disabilities with assistive software in addition to all standard lab PC software.
- Wireless network access is available in and around the lab via 802.1x authentication. Some configuration is required.
