PDFshrink reduces the size of PDF files by optimizing the resolution and compression method of images, removing unused elements such as metadata and thumbnails, eliminating duplicate images and compressing other parts of a PDF file. PDFshrink can reduce most types of PDF files from 10 to 90% of their original size. PDFshrink makes it easy to optimize PDF files for use on the web, for email attachments and for on-screen reading. The drag and drop interface allows for setting different compression and resolution choices for color, grayscale and monochrome images. Three common configurations are included; however, the user can create unlimited custom configurations. Batch processing is supported with the ability to load multiple files and folders into a processing queue. PDFshrink simplifies the creation of optimized PDF files even further using Mac OS X\'s new PDF Services. Simply select \"Create PDF Service\" from the Configs menu and name the workflow. It\'s as simple as that. Then, whenever you create a PDF from the Mac OS X Print Center, you can automatically optimize your PDF using PDFshrink.

Features:

• Indexed text search
  Type in a word or phrase and Preview instantly returns the results in an easy-to-use list that shows you each occurrence of the search terms within a contextual phrase, organized by page. Click on one of the results and Preview whisks you to that page and highlights the term.
• PDF text copy

The Print Shop is a mainstream consumer graphics application developed to provide users with the ability to create greeting cards, photo albums, banners, signs and other personalized projects. The software features "quick-start" templates, wizards and tutorials.

In Mac OS X it is easy to save a document as a PDF file by simply opening the Print dialog and clicking the Save As PDF button. With the release of Mac OS X version 10.2.4, you now have the option to process the saved PDF file with AppleScript scripts that can perform a variety of tasks such as adding the saved file to a compressed archive, or including the PDF in an outgoing email message.
